There's no objective grounds to believe that. Theres no reason to adopt a defeatist attitude.

That's because your side refuses to look at the facts and the history of that part of the world.

And if the Taliban returns to power in Afghanistan and AQ reopens their training camp, you wish to leave them alone?

If? What the hell are you talking about....If? They've been rebuilding for the past two years in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.......or did you think that it was Mother Theresa who suicided and killed over a 100 people this past weekend.

We have forces in both countries allied to us. I don't get you guys trying to destroy all the allies we have. You don't realize how destructive this is.

Allies? You call Afghan. and Iraq allies? Countries that rely on you for money and military support are not allies but rather dependents.......expensive ones at that.

Look, Brumar, stop letting your leaders spoon feed you and starting thinking for yourself. Bush has failed miserably both in Afghan. and Iraq. Everyone knows that but you all.

If you liberals were in charge, we'd still be begging and negotiating with the Taliban govt over AQ operating in its territory.

We would have captured bin Laden and been out there long ago. You keep forgetting.....we're the ones with the brains.
