We probably could have saved that $8000 and put it in the bank considering we were both working two jobs and he a lot of over time. And even though we didn't accrue any equity, it was better to get the money back instead of losing it to rent, paying someone else's taxes and insurance. Like forced savings for us.

And the trailer park was pretty unique. I had a view of Sopris Mountain out my kitchen window and there were only 14 other trailers in our park. Aspen 17 miles up the road when I needed to get out and play. ;)
