1.1) I don't feel sure of where the economy or stock market will
be 5-10 years from now.

1.3 Oracle executives have said they think this too (as have other
companies' execs) and are deploying strategies to address the
commodification of rdbms.
2) Out of curiosity, what part of the current Oracle stock price
due you attribute to the network computer?
3) :-( I hope you (and I) do better than that.
