Your "solution" would be two-fold:

1) Take the profit motive out of health care.

2) Pass the costs onto others, i.e. those you can tax.

The first part may have merits, but I can assure you that the profits of health insurance companies aren't going up by 15-20% every year.

The second part is just more of the same. "Don't tax me, tax the guy behind the tree."
