it's an absolute calamity of health care here...Los Angeles County is dealing with that issue right now and with blue cross sending out questionaires to make doctors give up all information that is considered totally private so that they can basically VOID any health care contracts with patients that have any discrepancies in their 'application'. and if you've ever filled one of those out, there is NO WAY a lay person can provide everything..the last one I did went back for all medical things for 10 years! After the LATimes called them on it and every doctor group raised holy hell did they stop...but this is the track...we need universal care for ALL...that is what insurance is, RISK SPREADING
