Just saw a market wrap-up report on CNBC with a quote from the CEO of Rowan Co. (RDC), which reported record earnings today. The quote was along the lines of "this euphoria [in the oil sector] cannot continue". CNBC attributed the drop in many oil stocks today to this bearish statement. earnings report --> quote.yahoo.com I claim no great knowledge of this sector, but a statement like this is bound to have at least a slight chill on the market. I'm considering shorting one of these high fliers tomorrow? Any comments?
