Watts Up With That? has the answer. Thanks to a January 2007 El Niño, the BBC and other media outlets promised last year would be the hottest year EVAR. But take that out, and there's a clear three-year cooling trend. In fact, January of 2008 is remarkably cool.

Time to start polishing up your Ice Age hysteria.
