Paul, Carl, et al, How come you let Tom Kurlak jerk your stock around?
There's an article in the current issue of Fortune Magazine:

pathfinder.com@@soXZlQUAQCG1DsCY/fortune/

In "Who really moves the market" Joseph Nocera describes how analysts like Tom Kurlak is jerking Intel around and keeping Intel PE down at depressed levels (IMO).

As an example, Kurlak issued a down grade two weeks after reiterating a buy rating:

>>>He's got nothing!" one fund manager says in amazement. Because the downgrade comes only two weeks after Kurlak reiterated his buy, many buy-siders had assumed the Merrill Lynch analyst had some new information to cause him to change his mind so abruptly. Plainly, he doesn't. Indeed, to much of the buy side, Kurlak's reasoning has a grasping-at-straws quality; it seems as though he has decided to downgrade the stock first and only afterward go fishing for reasons to justify the move-<<<

I now feel that even if Intel announces a blow out quarter tomorrow night, Intel is going to stay depressed until Tom Kurlak say's otherwise.

If you guys are so smart, how come you are letting this guy jerk our stock around like this?

Just asking, ...not trying to stir up any thing...

Mary
