That is an interesting perspective. It certainly has some validity.

But then the US has never seemed to be big on sovereign wealth funds, nor does it have any money with which to execute the strategy.

COMS may have been in on the ground floor of the internet, but as AT&T reminded us, being first only guarantees a company a chance to compete, it takes government enforcing a monopoly to guarantee a win.e
