The timing for this Primary season is imo a little insane as it is being held in the severe winter and flu season. I question how these primaries can truly be representative for both parties----i.e. in Virginia we had only a 32% turnout for both parties----not very representative of the will of the people. That is why the caucuses and Conventions are important as they counterbalance Primaries held at times when there is not maximum participation of the voters. While I do not support Hillary it is unfortunate that she has the flu in the midst of the Primary. In contrast, the television personalities can function as they sit in front of a camera and pontificate on the latest twists and turns of the Primaries; whereas these candidates do not have that luxury. mj
