Clinton told a white lie and never should have been asked those quesations to begin with. Fooling around sexually is not illegal and had nothing to do with the phony Whitewater land charges which he was totally innnocent of, nor the nation's business. if you read the Lewinsky transcipts, you will plainly see Bill refused to have sex with Lewinsky. He is like some men who consider handjobs and even blowjobs "not cheating" but he drew the line there. Never any sexual intercourse. But many of the rightwing leaders who were accusing him at the time were having full-blown extra martial affairs, including Gingrich and prostitute addict Mellon-Scaife, the funder of Newsmax and the "bimbo eruption" phony smear lawsuits. Actually Clinton was guilty of almost nothing. Yes he's cheated on his wife. But so were his accusers. So did GW Bush. So did GHW Bush. So did JFK and LBJ and Roosevelt and some of the greatest leaders in history. So why was Clinton asked those questions? Pure partisan smear politics, that's all.
