Keep in mind we've had permanent bases in Saudi Arabia since the first Gulf War. They were inspiring AQ and causing domestic problems for the Royal Family. So now they're gone. Where are we to put those troops now? Obviously, the administration and others think Iraq is a perfect place for our strategic, permanent, Middle East forces... SD
