No way about Carter. The Camp David Accords have kept the Middle East from boiling over, as the only country capable of taking on Israel has kept the peace with them. Clinton led and helped create peace, prosperity, a balanced budget and a strong dollar. Those are the things Presidents are judged on. Dumbya Bush had all of those things, except, well, all of them. Would Clinton have been able to create so much good without George H.W. Bush taking on the daunting task of reversing Reagan's disaster? No, so 41 deserves some credit, too. If someday the bench is cleared of all these activist, lunatic fringe conservative judges, we may be able to discover just how much Bush and Cheney have stolen in Iraq.
