Yeah, but people like the speeches. And not being as "accomplished" as the other candidates, who all come out of the much disliked US government, isn't necessarily all that bad

That would be as opposed to where Senator Obama comes from? Two Senators are going to run against each other here.

And, as for the big beef against him, it's easy as pie to repel. McCain will say "he has no substance behind the rhetoric!" So Obama will respond with a detailed proposal about some topic, and voila, substance. Now what you got McCain?

Besides, Hillary is the one who has proposals. Obama has rote recitations because he has essentially zero policy experience. Voters who are over 30 (and that's most of them) can tell the difference.
