Earnings reached $7.9 million, or 37 cents a share, from $6.1 million, or 29 cents, in the year-earlier period. A survey of three analysts by FactSet Research produced a consensus estimate of 25 cents a share for the quarter. Revenue slipped to $161.9 million from $165.3 million.
