In short, we are not like other primates or other hominids, because the ancient ancestors of humans learned to use fire - and and the use of fire (the burning of hydrocarbons) changed them into Man. :o)

Nonsense. Trying to correlate human evolution with fire use does not show that in the least. Correlating human evolution with tool use would might do an ok job.

Human brain size was damn near current size (or larger) by the time of reliable indications that they used fire (300-400Kya). There are only very poor and suspect indications of much earlier use, and no indications of regular use in much earlier times. Compare that to the tool use data and it is night and day. Tool use and design was quite sophisticated before any comparable use of fire developed.
