Presidents including some of the most successful ones have had strong libidos. What i am hearing sounds like a gal with a crush and an older dude who is flattered. Happens all the time. Only the two of them know if it was consummated, and barring any evidence as in the "dress", we will never know for sure. And as far as unnamed staffers saying McCain was warned, we should remember he was running against Karl Rove back then and the warnings might have had little to do with anything actual but more to do with appearances. Personally i was in a similar situation once with a younger woman. But we both had some sense and nothing happened. However as a guy i know if she didnt have more sense than me, it would have. NYTimes acting like the Enquirer is disgusting to me and i am a daily reader and subscriber. Reminds me of the Baltimore Sun reporter making up stories and interviews in the WIRE on HBO.
