I think obama is the most progressive democrat in quite some time. I use progressive because i think (hope) that includes taking best of breed from both right and left. I hope he is that kind of liberal and not McGovern or Carter redux. By the way, i am a pro israel dude and just want to say to the thread that nadine crosses a line by using the middle name highlighted as she does. I dont like that one bit, although i am suspicous of some of the names among his crew.
