Jeffrey, IOM made up over 30% of HMTT's business last quarter. It is expected that that percentage will have jumped this quarter which would be an indication of jaz sales. given that HMTT's business from other suppliers last quarter was actually flat and IOM's business had jumped from 12% to 30% (which concerned some investors in HMTT at the time relative only to HMTT), it is quite evident that Jaz sales were up substantially which KE bore out in the conference call (earnings would have been $.02 higher if not for the disk recall - but that should be added back in this quarter as the disk supply problem has been corrected). thus I'll be listening in on HMTT's conference call tomorrow morning to determine what percentage of HMTT's business IOM now represents. HMTT did receive qualifcation for WDC thinfilm 9GB which was a positive for them too. it is expected that IOM's portion of HMTT's business probably jumped another 7% (to about 38%), an indication of continued strong Jaz sales.

Given that HMTT's overall business is up nearly 10% from last quarter, it is likely that that much of the additional 10% increase came primarily from jaz and not from HMTT's other customers.

does this help?
