The war on drugs is not petty. It's a multi billion dollar industry that the nation can no longer afford. It's a war that our government has declared against its' own citizens. Yet when one of its' own is caught up somehow they are exempted. This war hasn't worked after well over thirty years. Millions of US citizens have been jailed or worse. It's far from petty.
