I'm surprised that there have been virtually no takeovers given the discount of the juniors to the metal here. The seniors are not replacing reserves or production except by takeovers. Best prices here in probably years and they'll sit on their hands until many stocks are 50-100% higher. The other option which happened recently for 2 small players would be to merge to create more institutional interest and liquidity/size. Guess there are too many egos involved.
