'Congress can be the most damaging force against a free market there is.' Agreed. The GOP lost their soul this decade, because if they were on their game like the band that came in in 1994, GWB and company would never have been allowed to be loose cannons for six years.. The biggest socialized, most liberal pork program in modern times has been this war on terror in Iraq. Probably just ahead of the socialized 'ownership society'..
