The Iranians tried to knock him out but they couldn't and he now has their backing. What a bizarre claim. The ayatollahs were never against him. They backed him when he fought the Americans and the Brits. The Brits made a deal with him and let him go. Now the ayatollahs are trying to shape him for the future. Naturally Hizbullah is their model, it's been a huge success for the Ayatollahs. How to wage terrorist war on your enemies and pay no price.
