The number of uninsured and the different categories of people included within that number have been discussed in at least dozens but more likely hundreds of posts on this thread, quite a few of them recently, is there really any need to rehash all that again? I don't see why.

But if you must have something to put a number to, how about the number of American citizens and legal residents who truly can't afford insurance, but aren't eligible for any government insurance or assistance with insurance.
