This is not true at all. People buy SAP in spite of its design (quality?). They primarily buy it in order to implement an MRP process into their company. Its usability sucks and its s/w design is at least 5-10 years old. Peoplesoft and all the the SCM companies will give it a very tough time. I don't know much about BAANF, but the other two have a much more flexible and modern architecture, check it out.
