Scientology is bad, but not really a religion. L Ron basically told his friends that he would start a scam religion to get rich and then did so. Also, one good thing about scientology is that presumably given the proximity of the religion to LA there should be many easy women in the folds.

Scientology is really pretty ridiculous, though. Just to show you that many of those actors who seem smart are just nitwits who are good at repeating what others tell them to say. (similar to most MBAs, such as MBAs from Wharton...)
