I bet you didn't know that scientists have proven through DNA and genetic research that homo sapiens has evolved faster in the last 100 years than at any time in our previous history. It proved once again that evolution is a scientific probability and that it continues even now. Humans 1,000 years from now won't be recognizable. As a Catholic, do you know how I reconcile God and science? I believe that God has a guiding hand in how we evolve and that he guided the evolution of our primate ancestors to the point that the spark of intelligence and rapid growth of our brain allowed for our evolution into what we are today. But for Christians to believe that we just appeared on the scene 10,000 years ago is just willfull stupidity. The truth is it is tremendously arrogant for a Christian to believe they have it all figured out in a nice pat theory like Creationism. God is marvelous beyond our small imaginations and I guarantee you that the universe is wilder and more wonderful than any of us can imagine with our puny minds.
