How about this, Steve...the scientific evidence we have supports a very high probability that evolution from primates over a period of millions of years is where we came from, rather than homo sapiens somehow magically appearing on earth some 10,000 years ago. Science is about probabilities and statistics. Religion is about faith despite the lack of evidence to support it. Nothing wrong with either and the two can be reconciled, if your mind is open to the possibility that the multi-verse is stranger and more wonderful by far than any known theories of man.
