Democrats and Illegal Immigration: We just returned from a South Florida vacation and I again observed how immigrants are claiming the bottom rungs of the economic ladder at the expense of American minorities. In Houston it is Hispanics working in the hotels. In South Florida it Islanders. The group with the greatest interest in controlling immigration should be the Democrats who claim to be the voice of American minorities. Somewhere this summer this issue has to hit the fan!
