I heard the same thing except that it will take place on Thursday. They will meet with analysts and institution fund managers seperately before then and then go on to Boston for more meetings on Friday. What I have heard about the "guidance" on the impact of the acquisitions is that they will be very positive - more so than it currently reflected in the forecasted earnings.

IFCI should come away with one or more additional analysts covering the stock and with increased participation from institutions. This broadened coverage has a good chance of moving the stock price higher over the course of the next few months.

I have also heard that additional acquistions are being considered that will likely have a positive impact on the prospects for the company and that should positively effect the stock price. This is an industry that is undergoing some consolidation in preparation for more rapid growth next year and beyond. This climate is very positive for IFCI's ability to grow more rapidly than general market segment growth and gain the benefits of market synergies and economies of scale. I think the "story" on this stock looks very exciting and expect some analysts and institutions to see it the same way. It's not a glamor stock and it won't attract a highly speculative valuation, but it should move upward from here on its merits.
