[Expected WSTL contracts]

<<<We/Westeller's believe BT is one of the contracts, BC and GTE are the other two..>>>

Now that we're on the same team, I'm going to celebrate when Westell gets contracts and commiserate when they don't. When it comes to BC, are Westellers basing their expectations on a CAP or DMT win? If CAP, I don't think there's any chance; if DMT, then I think it depends on how successful GS is in re-negotiating with BC. As I understand it, BC went with Alcatel after BCTEL chose DMT, having decided they wouldn't chose a different line code. Now, it appears they've chosen Alcatel and yet what's unclear is whether the contract is exclusive and what will happen if Alcatel can't deliver. In other words, I think there's still room for maneuverability.

Than again, I could be wrong.

Cheers!

Pat
