If your going to quote my statement you might as well make the comment relevant to the statement. Nothing wrong with raising another issue, but then why include the quote if the new statement isn't related to the issue you want to talk about? There is no good reason to fight this trend. There are plenty of reasons to fight the trend of having the government take over more and more of health care (esp. because health care is an increasing part of the economy not a decreasing one). Its possible that I am fighting a losing battle, but its far from certain, and since I don't have to pay a cost the way I would in a real battle, staving off defeat, even if its inevitable is worth it. As for a list of countries, well "everyone is doing it" isn't much of an argument.
