Hi Hawk. I must be missing the point of your question and I suppose it's just that particular geothermal location you mean, but Wairakei geothermal in NZ has been running for half a century and is still going. So they have obviously not got that problem to an uneconomic level [if it's a problem at all]. <Geo-Thermal.. Does anyone know if they've resolved the issue of mineral deposits building up and clogging the the piping? >

There is another more recent geothermal station so anything going wrong at Wairakei didn't put them off.

I suppose Google can give you LOTS of information.
