I think I made under $50K one year. It was the year I needed to convert my IRA to a Roth IRA and I overshot. It took substantial coordination from my different income sources to pull it off.

My wife does not quite get the fact that government money comes from us and that it is more efficient for us to support the same cause through a religious organization that covers the overhead through general funds.

Obamanomics is very scary. The money has to come from somewhere. The three choices are: you and me and those we post with through higher taxes, borrow so our kids can pay our tab, print money so that you, myself and those we post with can pick up the tab but some get deferred to our kids.
