Good for her. You will find that the sentiment against illegal immigration is the strongest amongst those who moved here legally and became naturalized. Those of us who came here to contribute our skills to uplift this country but at the same time brought our compassion with us thereby enabling us to share our wealth for the general upliftment.

We also view very cynically a blind approach to globalization where it results in a shift of wealth. And the "Yes we can" theme resonates with us.

Wonder how many have personally attended a naturalization ceremony as a visitor. My wife (American born and raised) and a office colleague of mine attended. And both were moved to tears when they listened to the presiding judge's speech. My wife, because she felt very good and proud about her country. My colleague because he was thinking of his great grandparents and their feelings when they immigrated from Germany in the 1800's.
