Mr. Farrakhan's calling America "a nation in peril" seems like he is either predicting more terrorism for America or predicting the end of the world. Is there an increase in natural disasters or nature just doing what it has always done for centuries? Earthquakes, snowstorms, floods, tsunamis, tornadoes, sunshine we love are all part of nature. Mr. Farrakan seems to credit Obama's political rise as a solution to all of these problems as though Obama is here to save us all. Well there is one thing that Farrakan is missing that is the false messiah syndrome. Obama is a mere man, who grew up during the drug years during the 1970's in one of the most beautiful idlylic settings one can imagine Oahu, Hawaii. He was raised by Grandparents---never knew his father who had a background of multiple wives. To Obama's credit he extricated himself from those teenage years and moved on with his education. It is that education that prepared him to venture from Hawaii to the bigger world of the United States. Does Mr. Farrakan impart too many powers to Obama whom he favors in seeing him as a messianic candidate who suddenly appears to solve every problem known to man or woman? mj
