The best place to guess the direction of Fed Funds is to look at the implied probability through Fed Funds futures. Right now the futures are discounting an 88% chance that we get a 50 bps cut to 2.5%m and a 12% chance we get a 25 bps cut.

If the Fed plans anything different at the mid March meeting, they will definitely let the market know through comments to the media well before the meeting.
