"Sadr have also called a temporary truce and stopped killing Sunni's. That truce period is up now and nothing has happened yet. Non-Bush sources say that the Iranians had some influence on the Sadr militia."

Sadr has recently reiterated the intent to keep his militia peaceful and support the democratic process. There is now a significant block of sadrists in government. Bush attempted for a while to substitute the word extremists for terrorists but he dropped that ... I think he realized extremism is everywhere, even here and internal to his organization. But there are still radicalized people in Iraq with violent motives and means as hard as that is to define by one term alone. Iraq isn't going to be a paradise but the situation is manageable and becoming more so with time.

I've gotta go now but I'll look at your response later.

Take care,
