RS Components groups a range of microcontrollers and associated devices

RS Components has grouped together a range of microcontrollers and associated devices from a number of suppliers in its move to address embedded control applications.
The catalogue and online distributor has launched 683 new products from twelve manufacturers of embedded control devices and peripherals, including Microchip, Texas Instruments, Cypress, Freescale, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, Ramtron, FTDL, ISSI, Spansion and WIZnet.
Stand-out products are the STM32 Cortex 32-bit ARM microcontrollers and development tools, STR9 ARM9 microcontrollers and development tools, Freescale: 8, 16 and 32-bit microcontrollers and Microchip’s latest dsPIC and PIC24 microcontrollers.
RS is also carrying Cypress Semiconductor’s PSoC (programmable system-on-chip) silicon and development tools and there is memory support from Ramtron, ISSI and Spansion.
