alan,

Take it easy man. David Walsh possibly giving proceeds of profits from his future book and movie is a very honorable suggestion. If the proceeds were to given to shareholders, there would be a few problems.

1. Proceeds would be shared with shareholders at which record date ? Should it be current shareholders. Should it include shareholders who sold just before the halt ? Should it include shareholders who sold at the height ? Should it include 'deGuz' (dead or alive, he is still a shareholder you know), should it include Felderhof ?

2. David Walsh is still the largest single shareholder of Bre-X, Bresea, and Bro-X. Distributing the proceeds of profits would look like paying himself (even though he will have authored the book / movie). Now this wouldn't look good in the public eye, would it ?

3. Finally, after the Strathcona report, I did not see much support for David Walsh on this thread. Of course, there was a lot of abuse (and I can understand the frustration), but now I am surprised the same people are pissed that the proceeds may go to charity.

No my friend, David Walsh will again doing the right thing (if he does write his book and signs a contract for a movie) , and donate the proceeds to charity. Plus, the proceeds would be small relative to the loss incurred by shareholders.

Alan, This again is just my opinion.

Regards, Lalit Jain
