The majority of the tax money paid by the people in the wealthier states isn't going to important infrastructure, and the higher taxes are a drag on their wealth creation.

Not enough of a drag to overcome their other advantages (only some of which are from government created infrastructure, not 100%, its isn't the only foundation of their wealth), but enough to make the wealth lower than it would have otherwise been.

Or maybe I should just act like you and ask you to quantify the exact amount that government created infrastructure contributes to the fact that some states are wealthier than others, and when you can't I'll reply "oh your just guessing" about your statement that roads and the educational system contribute to wealth. But I guess I won't, I'm not in the habit of playing such silly games.
