Golden Phoenix to Make Presentations During Mine Conferences in Toronto and Chicago

(OTC Bulletin Board: GPXM - News) is pleased to announce an Open House and Technical Presentation for all interested or potential shareholders, institutional investors and mining professionals from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, Monday, March 3, 2008 in the Saskatchewan Room of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, 100 Front St., W., Toronto, Canada. The Open House will coincide with a four-day conference sponsored by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).
The Open House will feature information about mining operations at the Ashdown Project molybdenum mine as well as Company plans for reopening the Mineral Ridge gold mine, both located in Nevada.
David A. Caldwell, CEO and Chief Geoscientist for Golden Phoenix, and Donald R. Prahl, COO, will lead the presentations. Current shareholders and all interested investors and professionals are encouraged to attend and complimentary refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
The Open House coincides with this year's PDAC mining conference, which has been called "the most important event in the world of exploration," due to the international blend of mining professionals, financiers and investors who attend. Golden Phoenix will follow the Toronto presentations with participation in the Chicago Resource Expo on April 25 and 26, 2008.
The Ashdown Project LLC is a jointly owned venture of Golden Phoenix and its Canadian partner, Win-Eldrich Mines, Ltd. of Toronto (TSXV: WEX). Mineral Ridge is a gold and silver mine wholly-owned by Golden Phoenix.
