Seth, I have access to real time quotes and news, so I don't need to
pay extra in commissions to a full service broker. The full service brokers
I have had experience are mostly useless to me. They just slow down the
whole trading process and charge a premium commission which makes my
style of short-term trading nearly impossible when you take into account
the huge commissions. I have had very good success with Brown and Co. I
enter my orders over the touch-tone phone, and get instant fills. No
human gets in the way to slow things down and charge me more money. Short
term trading is the way to consistently make money in this market. I go
home flat, and earn interest overnight on my U.S. T-Bills. I never have
to worry about the market overnight. Just worry about what to daytrade
the next day!
