the word "taking" comes to mind, meaning "stealing"... Taking exactly what? Something that both the bank, and the guy who didn't have the money to pay for it to begin with, is now worthless to the guy who bot it, and a liability to the guy who loaned him the money.... ...Just because some hong kong money managers and wall street propeller heads wearing string vests thought it was a good idea to back these transactions by rabidly piling into them head first...just because the steaming pile had a good AMBAC rating and a catchy name.... You're now morally offended because the poor unemployed bankrupt guy (who thought housing prices could only go up)...and his lawyer only made this one bad decision? There's only one industry in america more capitalist than the chinese. And to paraphrase the joke, even a hooker wouldn't take advantage of a dead guy.... <this wasn't targeted at YOU, just thought that pointing out some of the irony in this might be good for a chuckle>
