Good article. This statement remains KEY for why I invest in the sector: As Toshiba-SanDisk made the aforementioned announcements, we believe that consumers should see applications building with more NAND Flash memory with cheaper price as what was experienced with the iPod. For example, 32G is enough memory to have near instant on computers so you can have real time processing on demand for all sorts of new applications be it language translators or a whole bunch of new things not invented yet. I think the video revolution is already driving a ton of bit growth (a reason I own FNSR) but it should accelerate as more want to take their favorite TV shows with them to watch when they want. We'll probably see networks offer their shows for free and eventually get rid of "commercial breaks" to replace them with product placement much like Donald Trump's "Apprentice" show does it now.
