I've been told be ISP's in the know (albight second hand info) that the MAX does indeed run hot in order to circumvent the problem they first don't fill up the box with max allowable 56k cards, and second the racks need to be configured in what they refer to as a "checkerboard" formation...hope this helps (it's definatly not COMS misinformation)...p.s. -- I'm long ASND
