Workman's comp is about workplace injuries. Not injuries in that are not at the place of work, not encoured while on the clock or in the course of work related duties, and not even something that happened while commuting to work.

Its unreasonable, and on the net harmful, to force an employer to be responsible for injuries of part time seasonal employees who where not working at the time. The cost of motorcycle injuries unrelated to work, should be born by the employees motorcycle insurance or health insurance.
