Bernanke: Many troubled mortgages investor-owned "My recollection is that among the mortgages that are having problems, something on the order of 20 percent of them are investor-owned, therefore not a family that is at risk of losing their home," Bernanke told the Senate Banking Committee. "In those cases we shouldn't intervene in any way. Investors who make a bad investment should bear the consequences," Bernanke said. reuters.com
