Senate failed to get cloture on housing package. Reid came up very short, 48-46. All Democrats voted for it, only one Republican.

So that's that. I will start telling my clients to walk away, Congress won't help, the lenders really can't help if there is (as is typical) a second mortgage with another lender. The junior lender would be wiped out, stripped off, and there's no incentive for them.

Easier for me, though. I don't have to file adversary proceedings, just surrender in full satisfaction.

Take these keys and shove 'em.
