Only an ignorant idiot would claim the NY Times isn't one of the finest newspapers in the world, and the most credible.

It also has several major conservative columnists so it's not all that biased, though it does bloweback against the rightwing from time to time, as they deserve to be blown back against with all their lying, evasions and blaming the messengers.

The reason the rightwing hates the NY Times is because it and others like it expose their crimes, lies, fiascos and corruption. That's it in a nutshell.

And remember, the only NY Times story of any import they have had to retract was when they believed Cheney-Rove about the WMD, so Cheney-Rove were the ONLY major problem the NY& Times has ever had. They were the liars. Cheney-Rove = the rightwing which hates the NY Times because it prints the truth.
